The photo drew my attention to what I am writing about today, as it depicts a different position in the physical sense. Everything depends on your positioning. Whether you think you can or you think you cannot then you are right - Henry Ford. Your mental and emotional position is more important than your physical position.

Sometimes in life and leadership, we tend to focus too much on our position, which connects to our job title; and it's understandable. However effective leaders lead from various positions - the side, the back, the front, and center.

These positions reflect their self-awareness and emotional intelligence; but today, I want to talk about the positions we lead from in our personal life. It's crucial to know how to position ourselves for your own benefit and the greater good.

✅Firstly, position yourself in your Mind. Don't think of yourself as superior to others but also recognize your own greatness. In the eyes of God, you are a royal priesthood, holy and called to display his mighty power.

✅Position yourself as a Winner. Winners don't just stumble upon victory; they intentionally position themselves for success. In the Bible, when Jehoshaphat went into battle, God instructed him to go down in the valley and position himself. Often, we desire to win but were not in the right position.

✅ Position yourself with your Words. You cannot speak bad and expect good to appear. Life and death still reside in the power of the words. So, choose to position yourself by speaking life.

✅ Position Yourself with your Choices: Your choices are the most significant aspect of your life. What you choose to do every day, tells in tones greater than words, what your next day, month or year will look like.

Time would not allow in this one post to delve into the importance of positioning in your Actions and your Focus among others. I will save that for another day.

Remember, positioning is crucial in both life and leadership. Your mental position is more important than your physical position. So go out and position yourself to win, remember to start within.

Ps. While you are on the website, read some blogs, grab a book - I recommend - Small Moments Sacred Echoes and in keeping with our post today - Get a copy of The Pause System or The Interactive Leadership Workbook - Vision, Empathy, Adaptability.

As usual, walk good. Press into your peace and persevere into your purpose.
