Navigating Life with a Perspective Reset

It is common in this our fast paced and often "pressure-cooker" world to hear people talk about how you can achieve anything you set your mind to, but what they often forget to mention is that there are limits to what we can realistically accomplish

It's all about a perspective reset. We cannot be everything we want to be, neither can we achieve anything we want to achieve. Why? because of one word, Purpose! No one achieves anything beyond their purpose. Purpose is the reason for which we were created.

Consider these points:

In the Bible, God rejected Cain's offering as that was not his purpose, he was not born for the purpose he tried to fulfill, and failed miserably and in his misery be became angry and killed his brother Abel. There are other instances such as Esau and Jacob, Ephraim and Manasseh, where it appeared to be dishonest or unconventional for the one who was chosen over the other. Yet it is called Purpose. King Saul is another great example and even King David when he was told that he will not be the one to build the temple, his son Solomon would.

  • Recognizing and accepting our own limitations is crucial for building a strong sense of self-acceptance and resilience. When we constantly push ourselves to meet unrealistic expectations, whether they come from within or from others, we end up putting ourselves under immense stress and pressure.

  • This pressure to constantly excel can have serious consequences, such as burnout, anxiety, and a loss of our true identity. It's important to take a step back sometimes, relax, and trust that things will work out in the end.

  • By allowing ourselves to reset our perspective and shift our focus away from the high-pressure environment we've created for ourselves, we can start to discover our true calling and purpose.

  • Once we come to terms with our limitations and embrace our true selves, we can begin to move confidently in the direction of our dreams and goals.

  • Taking the time to prioritize relaxation, meditation, and reflection can bring us greater clarity and help us stay true to ourselves.

By focusing on what we were meant to do, rather than trying to do everything, we can find ourselves on a path to success and fulfillment.

As you navigate through this week, seek help to reset your perspective if you are challenged to do so on your own.
